As per this thread I don’t think it’s worth it, considering the size of the midi capable MPDs like MPD-26 and MPD-32 - Octatrack + Akai MPD 32?
What do you think of the alternative AR MK2 with an iOS sample editor? An app that eases off the burden of chopping and manipulating somewhat the sample, then I record to AR as a loop and go from there. Thsi would be for long for samples. for 1 shots I think AR handles that pretty well - considering my experience with the DT.
Another question I have is does AR have choke/mute groups?
