“Sigil”

All OT, main source was a loop a friend did with launchpad, but it got mangled beyond recognition. 151 bpm, trance-ish . Sorry, a bit long but I was having fun.

Thanks … “Untitled” actually has a title, I wrote it down somewhere and have to find it …l I am terrible with titles … That one uses the Radias, EMX and a Kaossilator, and makes very little use of the OT. The one called “Sigil” is OT only, I have been forcing myself to really concentrate on the OT so I can learn it better.

Sigil came out well, it has some good stuff in it but is admittedly too long. Once the DAW is back online I may very well load it in and start tweaking…

I enjoyed that thank you. I’ve always been curious if the OT could be used for more trancier duties, I hear it usually in a glitchy/experimental context.

Yeah it does lend itself to glitchy stuff because of the slicing and retriggering it does so well. But subtle uses of those functions can create some neat syncopated rhythms which are cool for trance or techo-ish stuff.
