Has anyone experienced anything like this before:
Lead from Nord Lead going into Octatrack = instant repeating clicking noise and green inout light flashing.
Even if I turn off the Nord lead.
Lead from Nord Lead going into Motu ultralite into ableton = absolutely fine.
monomachine going into octatrack is fine.
Just want to see if anyone experienced anything similar with a different synth and the octrack.
Swapped wires, same result. Swapped a/b to c/d, same result.
There is only on trig set up. Thru is as basic as it gets. Right now lead from nord (which is switched off) into octatrack C input. Clikcing repeatedly. Very odd.
Does this happen if you disconnect the Nord Lead main power?
You seem to have isolated the failure to the Nord Lead output and having it show said fault when connected to Octatrack while the Nord Lead is connected to power
Monomachine → OT = No fault ( did you try AB & CD?)
Did you try monomachine → Motu as a control?
Nord Lead → Motu = No fault
Nord Lead-> OT = fault, with different cables and inputs even with the unit powered off
What happens when you remove the mains power from Nord Lead while it’s connected to OT: Clicks or no?
Ok got it sorted. Plugged out the Nord Lead and the clicking stopped. Messed around with the plug and I think the lead wasn’t sitting in the Universal adapter properly. Got it all fitting flush and no more clicking.
