Octatrack MKII Blinking Inputs

Hi

Ive just bought a MKll from ebay on testing it I’ve noticed a lot of noise on the headphone Output past 12 o’clock also the inputs A B C are constantly blinking green with nothing plugged in to them

Ive read there was an issue with the first batch of Octatracks MKII. Mines from 2017 The inputs works fine when it has something plugged in to it, but when there is nothing plugged in there is noise on the inputs.

Also read some sent there’s back to Elektron to get fixed

Does anyone know what the problem was and what they did to fix them?

As I’m wondering if I can live with it or fix it myself and maybe i could negotiate a partial refund or shall I just send it back.

whenever i bought something 2nd hand that has an issue… ive wondered ’ can i live with it / fix it’ .
and kept it.
always regretted it in the long term… as i couldnt live with it … never got round to fixing it.
dont be like me.

Yeah that’s my problem thinking I could fix it but Infact I try to fix it and end up making it worse
