Octatrack has latest firmware.
MIDI flow: Digitone Keys => Octatrack => Novation Peak
Octatrack pattern of 16 steps.
When I programmed chords (3 notes) using grid mode on the Octatrack and then play back what I programmed sometimes only 2 of the 3 notes are sent to the Novation Peak.
When I manually play the composition on the keyboard at the same speed no notes are missing.
I suspect the Octatrack’s midi software isn’t able to follow the pattern composition. Anyone having the same issue?
Pretty sure something else is going on. Seems like a very basic use case that I’ve never had any issues with at least. Probably a question about midi settings or routing, without more information.
Probably. But sync transmit and everything else that might interfere with the note messages is disabled on the Octatrack. I’ll hook up my Analog Keys instead of Novation Peak tonight and see if the same thing happens.
I’ve narrowed it down to the Novation Peak as cause of the problem. With Poly2 as voice assignment Mode in Peak’s Voice menu page 2/3 there’s no more skipping.
