I am on vacation in Albania and Greece and I took my Octatrack with me. Since I came here I have been experiencing electric shocks when I touch Octatracks metal chassis. I had same experience with it in both countries. Is there something wrong with my Octatrack and did any of you experienced similar issues? I have also noticed hum in my headphones when Octatrack is turned off. When I touch headphone connector hum disappears. Something is not properly grounded.
I had a pretty similar issue, so I replaced all the cheap/old power boards I was using with good ones from a hardware store. Hasn’t been an issue since.
I’d be really careful if I were you, could result in fire or a real shock.
