I’m using the OT mkII as a MIDI sequencer for another synth. On MIDI track one, the OT always sends notes no matter if the track is muted or not. On track two, it won’t send any notes, unmuted or not. When I use the OT’a buttons in chromatic mode to send notes, everything works as expected.
Has anyone else dealt with this bug/behavior?
I’d check in MIXER page if this track is soloed.
I haven’t experienced that, muting midi tracks stops the midi from being sent for me. I use this feature a lot. Maybe you need to check your midi config, the sent notes might be coming from somewhere else.
Are the notes being sent zero velocity?
That was the issue, thanks. I’ve never used solo on the OT and as far as I can tell, there is no other visual indication of it being active except in the MIXER view. I must have triggered it accidentally via MIDI CC.
