I would love for the Octatrack to be able to send and receive sample dumps via MIDI so I could feed my Machinedrum and eventually my Rytm (when I finally buy it).
I’m probably weird by today’s standards, but my little music writing studio is computerless (not that I can’t drag a laptop in when I need to) and I love the basic sample editing features on the Octatrack. I’d like to be able to send samples from other Elektron devices for editing and/or send samples to other Elektron devices from the Ocatrack without the use of a computer. (Yes, I know how weird that sounds. I also know this will probably never happen.)
