so I am sure of whatâs going on.
I tested channel 10 and 16.
Did you check CC DIRECT CONNECT ?

I canât see what can be wrong for now, it works even with muted midi tracksâŚ
Would you make a test with a new project ?

Using this existing thread to post about my situation.
Im using OT, DNK, and Dreadbox Murmux Adept.
I want to be able to make use of OTs Midi Arp for the Murmux, but also want the keys from the DNK to control it as well.
The setup im about to try out is:
OT Out â DNK In
DNK Out -->OT In
OT Thru â Murmux In
I will post back up when ive got it all connected as to whether or not this works or if i run into problems.
EDIT: well, that did NOT work. Feedback sounds and stuck notes on the Murmux and DNK.
Back to the drawing board and im looking at a midi merge box as a viable solution.
Why?
Just go
Keys into OT
OT into Murmox.
Use auto channel so when your selected keys channel plays, it plays the OT channel that affects the murmox

You dont get any midi feedback if the path only flows in one direction.
I have
Arturia keystep into OT (using auto channel)
OT into TR8-S
TR8-S into quadra thru, and then to whatever other synths Im using, up to four.
In the case of using the digitone in amongst all that, it goes between OT and TR8-S.
Never had an issue. Never needed a merge.
Keystep is master keyboard.
OT is master sequencer/clock.
Can send its mega arp to digitone or anywhere else, plus all the usual OT nonsense.

okay so keys on the DNK are turning CUE on and off for OT Tracks and starting recording?
got a rec Memory Full notification after hitting a key. its also playing samples from slots that arent assinged to any tracks.
wtf.
OT midi settings ,theres an auto connect or direct connect forget Whats its called (plus Im not the full quid with covid)
Anyway, turn that shit off. It will work properly.

Youâre doing this stuff -
You donât want to use the auto channel for this, because when youâre on one of the audio tracks itâll start doing all that stuff when you hit the keys.
Youâll want to set the channels so they donât clash, canât think exactly how off the top of my head right now but it should be doable.

Found that PROJ-> Control -->Midi Sequencer.
Turned it off, but still no dice
If you turn direct connect OFF. None of that happens. Happy days.

ViolentMeals isnât sending CCs though, theyâre sending notes. So I think the direct connect method wouldnât work in this case?

It stopped doing this after i disabled Direct Connect, but im not out of the woods yet. Im not getting any notes to the Murmux via the DNK keybed, but getting them there via the OT Chromatic mode.
