I was trying to use a midi track to sequence an audio track with a cable Midi Out->Midi In to be able to record sustained notes as long as I want.
1 it’s playing with a really big latency. The trig get recorded in the sequencer when I played but the audio track play at least 5/8 steps later at 120bpm.
2 after a bit the Octatrack just freeze. All the lights get stuck and any button is unresponsive.
I tried to use Maschine in midi mode to trig the audio track and everything works nicely, I try to map some encoders, basically everything works as I expect.
And if I sequence my synths from the OT midi track they play without any big latency.
I tried to set cc and note to Ext only but it still freeze.
My OT midi track has only the midi channel activated, everything else is set to Off. It was on midi channel 3 to sequence the audio track 3.
Edit: I tried a new project and with the same settings it works fine!!!
I wonder what caused the freeze tho.
