Octatrack MIDI Delay

Hi everyone,

I have the OT sequencing the Korg emx-1, but there is a slight midi delay between the two. So far, i’ve used micro timing to compensate the delay (- 1/184) but its not very convenient…

Is there any other solution to compensate this delay ?

I never had any problems with midi delay on the ot. I’m sure there must be another reason. Can you test with another device on the octatrack?
What are your midi settings?

How are you comparing both audio signals? If you are comparing a sample played on the OT with a sound triggered on the em-x1 and you are monitoring the em-x1 through the OT mixer, you might want to check your delay compensation setting (project/control/sequencer)
