Octatrack MIDI Channels for CC Control

Hello elektronfellas,

I’ve been working on my Octatrack over the last year, I’m loving it and now I integrated my new midi controller, an easycontrol9, very cheap and handy but I’m having struggle for controlling the MIDI Tracks. All my cc commands work properly with my audio tracks but for MIDI tracks doesn’t work and I’m not sure what MIDI channel should I use or if I have to take out one of my audio channels from the MIDI channel I want to control. I only want to control the Arp Lenght of MIDI channel 2 which I thought it would be MIDI channel 10 but doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas of how controlling MIDI tracks works and which channel should I use? Thank you for your annswers.

Auto Channel, CC DIRECT CONNECT off.
Not practical imho.

is ther a way to not use the autochannel. I kind of don’t want to have that MIDI track selected all the time. I got it to work withthe auto channel but for me that doesnt work as I would want it. Thank you for your answer :slight_smile:

No, as I highlighted in the screenshot, it responds to the Auto Channel only.

I would have prefered a different implementation too.
