I normalize everything that comes in with the OT. I consistently put my material at 0% gain as I don’t like the idea of gaining inside the OT. I might try it. I only touch the track levels if I need to do some on-the-spot mixing, though sometimes I find, with a lot of FX, I’ll need to bring it down.
Though the OP didn’t mention it, gain staging in the OT (in the absence of any official advice from Elektron (wtf??)), is absolute hogswallop.
