Octatrack FX on multiple pickup machines

Hi,

I’ve been planning to use the Octatrack Mk2 for live performances, but it seems when I try to run instruments through Pickup machines with FX, only the selected track has FX active.
Is ths a feature (meaning all signals run dry through unless I select a track), or a system setting I haven’t discovered?

Octatrack, please

I’ve been using it for quite some months without noticing this :astonished: :joy:

All track fx are active. The selected Pickup can monitor inputs, with fx.

No fx with DIR, except T8 if set to MASTER TRACK.

Fx with THRU.

Ah, I might have misidentified my issue - when selecting for instance a Flex track, the Pickup one stops monitoring my live input. I thought I could keep up to four mono inputs running as if though a mixer/looper along with samples?

You can, but not with 4 Pickups.

4 monitoring with fx? THRU machines.
4 monitoring + audio mangling : FLEX + RECORDER (rec trig).
Remove the rec trig to keep the loop.

Ah, thanks! So the Pickup machine is really for focused looping work, not to be used everywhere at once. Thru machines solve my situation.
