I like what Substan did here -
You can get a lot done with just static track loops, and subtle level and parameter tweaks. I’ve done a few similarish things before but with flex tracks just grabbing snippets of field recordings or something. Can be pretty satisfying.
I would say that the OT definitely isn’t just geared towards faster stuff, it can work very well indeed for slow compositions. Remember that you can change a track’s sequence speed down to 1/4 the standard, and unusual polyrhythmic stuff is fairly easy too.
