Octatrack for £900

I planning to buy a new Octatrack and been offered a price of £900 from an
online shop. the price is very good ,maybe to good and I wonder if there is an older version of the hardware, and thats why is cheaper (i seen the Octatrack sell for 1099 most of the time)
any idea in regard
thanks

…b stock?

if you get full warranty and an official invoice, it should be fine…sounds like the right price for an almost unsused machine that came back for some reason…
and that won’t mean it was broken…that surely means the guy who bought it in first place gave it back after two weeks because of frustration…

averrage second hand price should be around 800…won’t find it any much cheaper, no matter how old…apart from some little optical difference in the surface finishing, they’re all the same…

Sounds plausible, what’s the store ?

Got mine from DV247 for £980 back in March - think it was last of a batch. Fully sealed and brand new smelling :joy:

There was some talk of the most recent production run having a slightly different paint texture. Other than that, you just need to do the latest 1.25C firmware update, which is very simple to do.

Always worth asking the seller if it is a return though - you might be able to haggle.

i got it from juno.co.uk. I don’t believe is b-stock because they usually tell when it is.it was originally 959 but they have a chat box which say ask for a lower price. I already bought an a4 from them and all great
