I have a track playing drum samples with Hold time set to 3.0 and envelope type in amp settings set to retrigger. However, the envelope is not restarting as it should at the zero attack time. The following sample (snare) is pretty low compared to, just previewing that trig. Any idea why it’s not working?

What are your Amp and Amp Setup settings ?
I guess you’re not talking about SRC (Playback) page retrig, it doesn’t retrig enveloppes…

So RTRG. FX shouldn’t matter as it is the envelope that’s not jumping to zero attack.
So you mean there is no amp envelope retrig (reset to 0) ?
I am not sure what is the issue for you, how to reproduce it…
Filter Env and Lofi AM (phase different from off) are the only fx concerned.

Haha I just found out why 
It’s the compressor that’s causing this. Turning it off makes the succeeding trig the right volume. It happens because I have quite a high resonance so the kick is rather boomy and the comp reacts to that and lowers the threshold and the succeeding trig is then also pushed down.
