I recently got a Digitakt to use with my Octatrack. In the sync properties, I have set both the Octatrack and Digitakt to receive/send transport,clock and program changes between each other as a way of having more flexibility, but apparently it is not working and the Digitakt seems to freeze also. However, if I set one of them as the master and the other as the slave, it works well, which is fine with me, if that is the only option. I am trying to find out whether setting both as master/slave is not possible or perhaps I need to change other settings. Thanks.
That is the intended way of using the instruments.
As you have already found out, this is a bad idea.

Thanks for the clarification. I was guessing as much, but decided to push the boundaries and find out. Now I know.
