I’m having a problem with using my Octatrack to send CC messages to my Pulse 2. I can send from OT control CC50 to control Pulse 2’s Filter cutoff, but when I send CC78 to control Pulse’s VCA Release, the Pulse 2 freaks and the patch becomes completely muted. No amount of fiddling with the Pulse 2’s hardware encoders can bring back any audio. Only turning the Pulse 2 off and on again will this patch sound. I’m just trying to figure if this is an issue with the OT or the Pulse 2.
Did you try with another patch of the Pulse, to see if the problem come from a specific parameter of this patch ?
Very interested in seeing if you can solve this. I get the same issue with the Monomachine when using the midi sequencer with my original Pulse. Patch goes silent and no way to get the patch back without jumping to another preset and back again. Never been able to home in on the exact cause.
the manual mentions changing the Pulse 2 from Omni to a specific channel. Doing this fixed a weird issue I was having with the Pulse 2. Every time I stopped the OT, it would randomly switch the preset back to P001 until I changed it to only respond to channel 1.
