Octatrack as Ableton Controller

It seems like there would be great live possibilities (!) Can this be accomplished with the USB out on the OT or do I have to Use the DIN Sync and adapt to USB? Are there special drivers to use OT with my PC and Ableton?

Unfortunately not possible with OT and its USB port. The USB port is for file transfer, no realtime communication. Not sure what you are refering to regarding DIN Sync, there are no such thing on the OT.

You can control/sync Ableton using the standard MIDI messages that comes from Octatrack’s MIDI out. You’ll need a MIDI interface for your computer.

DIN is ‘Digital Interface Node’ which is simply referring to the MIDI ports - I’ll try a MIDI to USB adapter
