Hi, is it possible to configure the Akai APC Key 25 to control the OT via the iConnectMIDI4+ MIDI interface?
The keyboard has lots of buttons that may be useful to match some OT parameters (I haven´t thought which ones), and maybe some from the Digitone as well.
I can´t even find the MIDI implementation chart for this keyboard.
What do you think?
Had a quick search on Akai site too and I guess it’s Ableton only for this one … no sign of a midi control app for it.
I don´t see a MIDI control app but it has to send MIDI messages, and with the iConnectMIDI4+ it should route them to wherever I want, but this is in theory…
Maybe use a midi monitor app (connected to a computer device) to read the msg and then forward those with the IconnectMidi to the midi parameter you want to change on the OT?
I only use a footcontroller with the OT, straight DIN midi in the OT.

The clip launch buttons will send note data when connected to for example, Logic Pro X.

So it won´t send those messages until connected to a DAW?
That i can not say, cause i dont have a USB to MIDI converter like you have.
If it should work, please let me know, than i have a reason to buy an iConnectivity

I´ll try to make it work, but don´t know when
