Octatrack and Vinyl Sampling

Just wondering if anyone is doing this.

For inspiration I am wondering how you are setting up your Octatrack for improv and fun in this scernario. I am just getting into this but finding things slow. Hoping someone can share some informative joy.

I have watched Daniel Trobergs video on You Tube but am unable to find anymore.

Has anyone else seen anything on this.

I recently bought a turntable. So far I have been recording into ableton and then importing to the OT rather than straight up recording in.

Yes thats the one.

Just trying to hear interesting ways if anyone is using them to fully utilise things like one shot recorder trigs, track assignment for on the fly recording and all that for some serious Techno mess.
