Can someone tell me how to send pattern changes from the OT to the TR8?
I can send them to the BassStation 2 and it works fine but no joy with the TR8, Ive updated it to the new firmware which should allow pattern change signals to be recieved.
Any help would be amazing thanks
as far as i know the tr-8 only uses programchange to select the kits. no pattern changes.
Darn! Ah well thanks for that, not too much hassle to change programs manually I suppose. Just another thing to think about when performing.

how do you sync up the ot with your tr8?
mine is in sync but is not starting when i hit play on the ot.

on ot did you go into Octa’s Midi->Sync->TRANSP->On? and clock on?
Btw You can send program changes using the MIDI Parts (4 per bank)
Also program changes can be send on a per pattern basis. (fixed: 2 banks 128 pg. each)
