Hi I’m trying to use the octatrack as a clock slave for the emx1. I have managed to get the OT to start playback on the korg but it’s not running in time.
Does anyone know why this is…
You have to check Transport and Clock RECEIVE in Sync Page.
Check EMX parameters, like Clock send or something.
If you want to record with OT, I’d recommend OT as master, if possible.
Your description is slightly ambiguous.
@sezare56 described the settings for the OT to be controlled by the EMX-1.
If you want the OT to control the EMX-1, do the following:
In the OT’s PROJECT > MIDI > SYNC menu, activate CLOCK SEND.
On the EMX-1, in the MIDI Mode, set CLOCK to either “Ext” or “Auto” as described on pages 83-84 of its manual.
