Not gonna lie, I don’t really know what I’m doing here. I used to use the Octatrack mainly as a sound mangler and loop maker, but now I want to use to for live sets. I took a ton of loops I’d made and loaded it in to start trying to piece together how this will all work. This is my first go at it and I figure posting progress videos over time will inspire and motivate me, and maybe others, to explore how live electronic sets with one or two people can be done in interesting ways. Right now, I’m focused on ambient stuff for this, but who knows what will come of it all.
I think I may just stick with my DN/OT setup and try to be more creative with that.
