Octatrack / A4 Audio lag

Hi,

Here’s my (simple) setup. I’ve got my A4 (slave) connected via midi and audio to my OT (master). Strangely, the sync is correct, but the sound modifications all happen a couple seconds later. So, everything stays in sync but, for instance, when I turn on an A4 track, the sound only comes in 2/3 seconds later.

Any thoughts about that?

Sounds like a settings problem, disconnect midi, play a4 keys, do you hear it in real time, if not look at audio side otherwise midi

When you say that you “turn on an [AF] track”, do you mean unmute a track, or change a pattern using the AF’s trig buttons, or change a pattern on the AF remotely from the OT, or something else?
