tweaking away on the octatrack last month, so i uploaded a sampling of some of my sessions. just minimal groove only for the most part.

this is pretty much all octatrack with sounds from micromac, machinedrum and nord drum 2. one track has a bit of epiano in it.

lots of biscuit and mf-102 on here, so it’s plenty lofi.

one of the tracks tripped soundcloud’s auto copyright infringement algorithm - something called black rumba - wtf, don’t even know what that is?

that stupidity has got me checking bandcamp, so i uploaded there as a free album:

Hello @polyslax, I´ll give a look after my job.

However, if I can ask you, how do you use the MF-102? I have one that I mainly use nowdays to warm the sound with it´s drive (although I think it gives a metallic texture that doesn´t fit well with more gritty beats-oriented sounds) and give a little fluctuation to basslines with the LFO.

@aeoner - yeah, defo the drive on the mf pedals is sweet, and stays engaged even when the main fx are bypassed. other than the drive, i like the 102 for tremolo style fx and then, of course, ringmod. used at more modest settings the ringmod produces nice (imo) metallic harmonics and can take things in really unexpected directions… you can clearly hear ringmod in some of these tracks.
