Hi guys,

Having awful trouble sending clock to my eurorack setup and have had no trouble sending midi to other equipment before

Gear: octa mk2
: intellijel 7u case
: intellijel midi 1u
: pams pro

Right so I have never been able to send start stop from octatrack to my modular. From what iv heard this is meant to be a pretty straight out of the box function.

The plan is to clock my modular from my octatrack and do all sequencing in the modular so shouldn’t be that complicated.

I have run and clock inputs on pams going into the clock and reset outputs of the intellijel midi 1u then midi connected to octatrack from the case.

1 point of interest is that the intellijel config app is not picking up the module so I’m thinking perhaps there is an issue there.

Any help with this would be really greatly appreciated as iv been manually syncing the 2 machines since getting the modular (back in feb) and I’m sick of it.

Do you have transport send ticked in the octatrack project settings menu?

Also, is the midi 1u actually physically hooked up to the midi input on your case, does it work with any other midi devices plugged into it?

from the Intellijel website.

  • MIDI input connector – the MIDI 1U module does not have its own MIDI input jack. This enables you to use the MIDI/USB inputs built-in to your Intellijel 7U Performance Case or Palette Case. If you don’t own one of these cases, you can purchase the MIDI IN Jacks 1U module to connect an external MIDI device.

Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Ye transport send is set to yes.

And ye the midi 1u is hooked up to the device I Havnt tried any other piece of gear to send midi to the device.

Hopefully I find out what’s wrong soon it’ll most likely be something terribly stupid on my end.

All the best,

Rob
