I just picked up a used Roland VT-3. It is pretty cool but I haven’t had too much time to play with it. But I am definitely a vocoder fan.

Did anyone else notice that at about 5:10 there is a guy playing an SH-101 as a keytar?

Great video. Very interesting to see how vocoders began.

The SH101 had an optional hand grip that allowed it to be used as a keytar.
