Oh that’s weird timing indeed!

Very beautiful.

As someone who likes to live patch and usually start from scratch, I’ve always battled the process of actually saving patches.

Something about the TEO helped me through that. The fact that I can save and recall them from the buttons on board speaks to me more than something like rev2/prophet x.

It’s not a lot but I have 3 banks of patches (huge for me.) So just shy of 50 patches so far.

Playing is kind of crap but maybe someone will hear something in one of these patches that sparks an idea.

I couldn’t help but go for a little knob twidle starting around 4:00 minutes. That section is probably the highlight. I love the TZFM. It’s so intertwined that subtle differences to anything can really change a sound.

Does anyone have the Analog Cases backpack case for the TEO-5, or a different recommendation?

An FYI for anyone considering picking up a TEO-5 during the black friday sales period:

  • The TEO-5 keys and module are currently discounted (through Jan 2026) but I was able to get my Sweetwater rep to given me an even deeper discount (another ~10% off),

  • Rep didn’t even blink at my ask, so if you’re a savvy negotiator you might be able to push this even further

Jealous Canadian here.
I’ve contemplated buying one and shipping it to my buddy who lives in Washington state but not sure its worth all the hassle.

I looked into these but they seem offensively overpriced to me. I ended up buying a Pelican case, which was cheaper and probably sturdier, but bigger.

What I noticed is an increase of price here in Europe during the bf

Ouch!

If your buddy is in the eastern side of WA, let me know. I have a very lightly used one I’m looking to sell, would be nice to avoid shipping stress. It’s the keys version.

I picked up a TEO-5 module a few months back, and loved it so much I decided I wanted the keyboard version.

I’m not sure I’m going to keep both long term, but for a little while at least I’ve got a fun 10-voice TEO! Big chords sound lovely as expected. And still considerably cheaper than an OB-X8. Bi-timbral capabilities of course too!

People with TEO-5, can you check something for me? When you engage chorus, can you keep the mix to 100% dry? I seem to lose a lot of low end/bass with chorus engaged, even with LPF maxed out. Doesn’t happen with other effects. Basically, I can’t seem to get 100% dry on chorus, or keep as much bass as without it engaged in any knob configuration.

Hi, just did a test, if you put the depth to 0 the chorus is still engaged and it sounds like some phasing is happening because the original sound overlaps with the one routed through the chorus.

But I guess as it is not mix but rather a depth control it’s expected? not sure.

Hope that helps.

Awesome, thanks! Just checking if there’s anything wrong with mine.

I like the distortion effect on this thing. Subtle but very pleasing.

Quick percussive ish thing before work.

Sorry boss. Looks like I hit some Traffic Entering Onramp that will delay me a bit.
