Okay its 100% an OB-X reissue, likely with a few tweaks.

I’m gonna go back to waiting and hoping for an Xpander reissue.

I don’t want to, but I might have to dump my OB6 for this.

OB-x8 has an arp… awesome! No effects, but the only effects I use on the OB6 is 2 stacked chorus… it’s awesome if you haven’t tried it.

So many options of incredible synths I’ll never own! :star_struck:

That’s great, they packed a lot in there.

Oh wow this looks so good… and expensive :grimacing:

Considering that the “matrix synth” begins with the Xpandr/Matrix-12, and also the encoder/page system used by Elektron and a zillion others starts there, they should claim Oberheims rightful place at the front of that pack with a Matrixsynth to end all matrixsynths

Thank God of #NYNG22!

Any indication of a module version? I mean, as flexible as I can sometimes be with the synth budget, 5k is about three times the amount of my biggest purchase thus far (a 2nd hand Matriarch).

It does look absolutely beautiful!

I don’t even want to know the price in CDN or AUS $. And I thought the Super 6 was expensive…

Im first in the queue for one. This could be a great year for synths afterall.

Yeah… I guess the OB-X8 will go on the list of ”synths I’m happy to know exist”. A more likely scenario for me would be grabbing a 2nd hand OB-6 from someone who’s trying to fund an OB-X8. :slightly_smiling_face:

Well. I’ll pass and keep on loving my OB-6.
