Nudge whole track

Hey guys, is there a way to nudge or add swing to a whole track in the DN2? I know you can play around with each step, but it’d be great to do it for the whole sequence. If not the backup would be to record it into ableton and do it with the whole wave, but it’s not quite the same, particularly in the composition process.
Thanks in advance!

Press the tempo button, swing is on the right…

That’s for the entire pattern, I want to do it for only one Track.

You have to do it manually for individual tracks.

You can copy/paste multiple trigs but I’m guessing you want to fiddle with a dial to adjust the whole thing and see how it sounds. That’s not possible.

I’m sure you can nudge all trigs in a track (so, not swing) because the DT2 does it. From memory, you need to get into the microtiming menu for a single trig first, then hold FUNC to change to all trigs.

But swing is only applied to evenly numbered 16th notes so you’d need to copy the track and delete all of the odd steps on the second duplicate track then save your project so you can reload if you aren’t happy with the results.

Then you’d need to delete all of the evenly numbered steps on the original track and then you could nudge the timing on the second track which would give swing to the evenly numbered 16th notes.

Between the 2 tracks you’d have 1 track with swing.

A headache, but I think that it’s possible.

*unless your track already has only evenly numbered 16th note steps in which case you’re gold :ok_hand:

You can nudge more than one step at a time on the same track selectively but you have to be holding all of them down to do it so more than 4 steps at a time while holding func and nudging the arrows would be a tight sqeeze.
