I don’t bother the NSynth stuff, but that prototype itself looks super slick. Just enough dials and a large touch screen - that could make a great machine from a usability point of view

Yeah the prototype looks really nice, there’s something about anything made with aluminum finish (and beefy knobs). but it should be fairly easy to swap the software for anything else given it can run on a raspberry Pi.

Exactly my thoughts. With the Raspberry under the hood there are already enough possibilities to play with. I don’t bother to implement the GUI myself and assemble the software parts, but building the hardware, too? Not really my business. Would be wonderful to buy it assembled somewhere.
… but it needs to be that shiny prototype from the video. The other images looks “meh” …
BTW: in a way that’s quite like the Organelle from Critter & Guitari, but with a much better user interface due to the large touch screen.
Ah that’s a shame. I wonder if this sort of stuff in real-time will be feasible in years to come. Nonetheless still a cool concept. Imagine it with some filters, lfo’s, FX etc. Makes me think it would make a cool euro module
Not soon. This is all very brute-force stuff.
Here’s an on-line version of the N-Synth much simplified with only two sounds to neuro-morph between. Still it’s pretty cool. You can click hold and move at the same time (aka drag) to get other sounds.
