hi guys… just wondering if I could control the F2type on the A4 with midi, the answer is NO… but NRPN would work…
but can the AR MM MD send out NRPN ?

NRPNs are MIDI messages - simply a different kind of MIDI message to Control Change messages.
The MD and MM do not send MIDI NRPN messages.
You can set the AR to send NRPN messages instead of CC messages. I don’t know how easy it would be to map the controls so that you could easily control the AF parameters that you want.
The AR sends NRPN but there is no direct equivalence to MSB 1 LSB 47 that is the NRPN used to control F2 Type on the AF.
So if you need to control F2 Type from a knob/performance pad on the AR the only way is to use a MIDI processor.
That could be achieved in many ways but you will need extra hardware, the simplest will be a dedicated MIDI processor that is an all in one solution, or you can use a computer with a MIDI interface, or a cel or tablet also with a MIDI interface. Arduino will be handy also.
