Inside Elektron: Sound Designer Talk

"We’ll be talking to the following four audio masters here at Elektron Studios Berlin, sharing thoughts, tips, and tricks, with the equally crackerjack Hainbach on moderating duty:

Iftah Gabbai - Berlin based composer, producer and programmer and one half of Skinnerbox, who recently performed at a packed ESB In The Mix. Has contributed numerous Sound Packs to our library, including Paleofuturist, as well as factory content.

Eraldo Bernocchi - Italian sound master extraordinaire with decades of experience in composing, arranging, and production across the genre spectrum. Has put together several outstanding Sound Packs for Elektron machines, including the popular Hidden and Revealed for the Digitone.

Richard Veenstra - A Music Technology Specialist with over 15 years of professional experience with synthesis and electronic music production. Richard has worked with several artists and music labels and is a lecturer and teacher for various music academies and conservatories in Germany and the Netherlands. Creator of the Lo-Fi Hip-Hop Sound Pack.

Erik Ångman - Elektron’s very own tech-wordsmith and occasional Sound Pack and factory content contributor. Check out the exemplary Digitone pack rtFM Pack for a taste.

Hainbach - Based out of Berlin, electronic music composer and performer Hainbach creates shifting audio landscapes THE WIRE called “One hell of a trip”. Moderated the previous Inside Elektron talk earlier in the year and is back for more."

There’s only one question that really matters on that point: is your beard bigger than Thomas’?

Sadly not possible without an account… any other way to tell you one is attending? Like, in this thread?

Is there any chance that it will be recorded?

It would be really great to have some kind of podcast or video

Nah. Don’t use video. Don’t record it. Let there be spaces that are non-mediated. Believe in stuff happening in a room with the people physically present.

So leave those who can’t go out in the cold?

sounds like it will be a great event but hey I’m far far away from Berlin and in which case any kind of registration, even highlights would be extremely welcome and great fodder on the forum for other far far away Elektronauts
