I recon, i could setup my apc40 to do the same thing 
havent used it for a while though since i got a push, but this could be a nifty application for it.
I also thought about getting a mixer, probably the octatrack is cheaper than the mixer anyways. There isnt an editor for the apc40, to hook it ip the same way like the novtion controller though, would that be an issue, when the octratrk can midi learn anything ?
I dont own one, but since i got a A4, and a RYTM, i wonder if the octa would be a nice additon. I still like ableton though (mostly.)
The iconnect looks also like a very cool device. I could use wifi to midi control things, awesome.
