Nothing but the Octa Baby!

I’m no master, only a year in and some tine with the DT as well but I feel like in my quest for an instrument, like just the people who bounce concepts and ideas in what they would want in a piece of kit to be, but like in a sense a guitar like a singular extension of yourself.

And for me the Octatrack (mk2 in my case) is that. It’s been a journey indeed and though the thought of scratching is a concept I like the idea of using a platter for over a slider, the slider gives me what I want none the less. Almost like picking a guitar in a sense?

So this thread is for all the OT dedicated things, put up tracks, pics, brilliant moments of discovery, whatever it is as my friend said earlier today, ‘when I play my guitar I still feel like I’m new to it and always finding something new to learn of it.’

And I’d have to say like a rush from surfing or some other adrenaline or euphoric, or endearing moment you enjoy of it, it has me captivated to play it each time. And I want hear what great or tragic moments you have had in your experience as well.

I’m more just learning how at times to do certain things or just experimenting. I enjoy tape, vinyl, delay, reverb, type of effects. So I just kind of jab at this track by SCO and it’s really just for my personal listening that I even put it up as I don’t really think of my shit as music so much as like my own imaginative expression and it Sounds more like a kid with crayons but. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/kCXHkSXzjPYJvwPa9
