Hi, what do you guys think about normalising individual samples before loading them onto the CF card?
Is this bad practise?
Do you guys normalise your individual samples to get better levels in the OT?
Good question. I’ve avoided it unless necessary.
Also, why not normalize inside the OT itself? I like to force it to put its sonic stamp on everything I can.
The thing gels tones so well, just using volume, its amazing.
Speaking of volumes, is there any best practice for getting a nice unity style level? I’ve noticed my inputs are way quieter than everything else Which has forced me to go back through my banks and reduce all my sample volumes.
