So, I’ve made a kit, saved it and all is well with the world.
I cannot work out how to make a copy of that kit so that I can make variations to the sounds and pattern without changing the saved kit.
I’d like both kits to be independent of one another even if they share some characteristics.
You can save it in another slot. I guess you can also use Function + Copy (Rec) above the kit, and Function + Paste (Stop) in another slot.
Yes, simply save it in another slot indeed. You will then probably want to assign each kit to another pattern, starting from a copy of the original pattern.
