Noob question, help resolve trigger mystery in preset 1

Hi guys and gals,

I’m a Digitakt noob, new owner, just starting.
Could anyone help resolving the (my) mystery of the first pattern (Subaquatic) track 6:
It has trigs on 1, 3, 9 & 14.

  • Why do I hear trigs on every step?
  • How do trigs 3 & 14 shorten the (kind of) loop length, and sound like a double or tripple trigger?

I do understand the trigger conditions of trig 3 & 14

Excited!

Hello, maybe some trig use the “retrig function” ? Hold the trig and press the up arrow to open the retrig menu and check if it is activated.
Retrig function will retrig the sound at a specific speed until another trig happen or the lenght is over.

And welcome to the DT world, the best machine ever  You will learn so many tricks with it that you will never stop using it in all your prod!

Thanks @blaize, I do enjoy this fast (for me) new machine. Deep!

you’re where right, it is the retrig option indeed, never knew that.

Thanks!

You can use retrigs to emulate an Arp…
