Noob MIDI Query: Desktop synth:chords into OT

Hi, I’ve connected a PRO 3 to my OT (CH16) via Kenton Thru 5 and it’s sequencing very nicely, notes and 3note chords.
PRO 3 OUT VIA MIDI INTO KENTON MIDI THRU
PRO 3 OUT VIA MIDI OUT INTO OT MIDI IN
OT OUT VIA MIDI OUT INTO KENTON MIDI IN

I now want to add a desktop synth (CH1) to the set up, to input 4 note chords via the PRO 3’s keyboard. The synth is connected to Kenton: desk top synth’s MIDI IN to Kenton MIDI THRU. I had thought that I simply needed to change to midi channel to 1 in PRO 3 to get this working but this isnt working. Any suggestions please? Hopefully this is well explained.

SOLVED: I synced OT auto channel to CH16 and then set PRO 3 local control to “off” when recording the desk top synth.
