Noise from Analog Keys in Ableton with Overbridge

Sorry if this has been discussed in other threads but I’ve searched them all to find no solution to this.

I have an Analog Keys hooked up to Ableton through Overbridge, and have five channels configured in Ableton - tracks 1, 2, 3, 4 and PreFX (main output). The four individual tracks have zero noise, however the PreFX channel has around 83db of noise.

I’ve tried the following with no luck:

  • changing the buffer size to 128 on Overbridge and Ableton
  • changing the inputs from 16 bit to 24 bit on the Overbridge Control Panel
  • disabling & re-enabling channels on Overbridge Control Panel

The noise does not appear if I go direct from the Analog Keys to my mixer over the main Stereo Outs, which makes me think that it’s Overbridge related.

I’m using MAC OS High Sierra 10.13, upgraded from 10.9 last night - issue is happening on both OSes.

Does anyone have any tips for this, as it’s driving me crazy! :pensive:

This is the exact same issue i’m seeing, and it’s in Cenk’s demo of Overbridge. At 7:07 the PreFx channel has a reading of -83db when he activates the channel. This happens to me too and all I hear is noise/hiss when I crank up the volume.
