No OverBridge for me ):

Yup, exactly same like the Virus TI Software, it acts EXACTLY the same.
Once you engage OB the whole computer Freezes…and actually it is not
the Computer that Freezes, just the Mouse, the Computer is still active,
if something was going on there it will continue…exact same begaviour
like the Virus TI Software…which means none of them are there yet to
actually use it with no problems…bad.

Thanks

I have Asus mobo and it is working fine using USB3 port.

I’d suggest trying with a different mouse if your mouse freezes.

It’s certainly some issue of your system rather than Overbridges fault.

Been using OB heavily and it’s rock solid on my system, same with my best mates studio.

OB working perfect here on both AK and RYTM
Virus TI working perfect also
Definitely something on your end
Most probably USB resources.
Remove all USB devices and plug back in one at a time while testing

Always amuses me when people come on here and give it the big one about how naff OB is because it doesn’t work on their particular setup. It’s like some guy who gets dumped three days after every woman he meets and never getting further than blaming the female species.

Lots of variables, plug your Elektron OB devices directly into your computer and only use your mouse and keyboard.

If it doesn’t work with only your keyboard/mouse/OB synths attached, check your drivers (if on a PC).

OB works great for me, clean install of El Capitan, all my plugins and DAW software is legit, no [k] stuff.

Ok guys, thank you…here is the case…the same exact thing happens between Virus and AK.
Once it is detected the Computer blocks and freezes. I restart it and it tells me ,OVERCLOCK
FAILED’’. That i know what it is and i deal with it, its audo OverClock, no need to go thru the
discussion of overclocking, i mentioned it just for the point of that Virus and AK both begave
exactly the same. This MoBo has a lot of ports, i downloaded the USB TREE App and checked
all the ports, found a controller that had nothing on it, 2.0 and connected Elektron. Same thing.
All that is left to try is to disconnect anything that is USB and the Dongles…eLicenser and iLok
and then just try Elektron and the Mouse and Keyboard…this will get deeper and more detailed
since i had few USB problems in the past too, even with just using regular MIDI.

Thanks

If that fails maybe the Elektron USB thing may help?
More USB bandwidth supposedly

Now for some reason works, i unplugged all, started working, plugged them back all continues to work.
I don’t know if i misunderstood what OB does but can this actually get sound f Cubase out? If so,
how? If i select the Electron Driver in Cubase what happens to my UFX? Where will i hear it? LOL
Its all connected and you can see the interactions but there is still no Sound, i tried both, UFX and AK
Asio Drivers in Cubase…i also get this, which i never heard of Cubase having its on Buffer:

And this is what my USB Tree looks like:

Thanks

You want to use the UFX ASIO driver not the AK driver, then the Overbridge AK plugin audio is routed through Cubase exactly the same as if you are running any other VST.
You are getting the message saying the OB plugin requires the lower buffer setting I presume to allow data transfer between hardware and software at an appropriate speed.
I used to get this exact same message years ago with my Virus TI.
Lower your UFX asio buffer to 256 or lower within Cubase settings and the message should disappear.
Not sure if you have also setup the Overbridge Control Panel.
Separate program where you need to activate the inputs of your AK that you want to monitor and record in Cubase
