No of bars different in Attr page

Ive sampled my TR8 in Ableton mostly at 120bpm at 96k using the TR8 sound interface.

In Ableton the samples are all 16 Bars in length

Ive come to do the slicing, expecting to be able to slice into 16 parts as I had 1 beat on each bar so I could adjust the parameters slightly.

When I view the sample in Attr page it says 32 bars so its not making sense to me.

I am probably being an idiot and missed some major point.

all my other sampling endeavors of my analogue and digital synths didn’t have this problem although they were all previously done using my saffire pro 40 at 41400

Change the length then?

edit: Actually I have no clue what your problem is. You can slice to 16 slices regardless of what the editor says about sample length. Or if you must have the length be 16 instead of 32 you can simply adjust it.

Its me being a DIV, I got hung up on it saying 32 bars but what I did was change the start point in ableton as there was some latency then cropped off the extra bit at the end of the sample then put back into octatrack and slice at 16.

it all aligns up nice now.

I expected it to say 16 bars.
