No midi on trig playback

Hi there,

I have my trig 1 (kick) set to midi output 1 which is well received by the midi receiver when i physically press the trig.
When i program a sequence and press play however, it is not anymore.

Any ideas what may cause this?

I might be wrong, but I don’t think the sequencer generates midi data

That would make sense but when i sequence the dedicated midi tracks it does work.
So if the sequencer didn’t deploy midi, sequencing via the dedicated midi tracks shouldn’t work ether.

I’m not quite sure if I understand what you’re trying to do. Are you trying to sequence some other gear with the digitakt? If so, you have to use the midi tracks, that’s how it works.

The sequencer on audio tracks does not output midi data on the dt.
