Since the 1.2 update there is no midi external on the keys.
Overbridge works fine but impossible to send midi note in ableton.
I must record note with push or the virus.
Anibody experienced the problem?

Thanks

If your trying to send midi notes from the AK/A4’s sequencer to Ableton it won’t work. It does not transmit midi note data. A feature many have requested but one that has not been implemented.

If your just trying to send notes from the keyboard to Ableton, check your midi channels and midi config settings in the AK.

My read on the OP was that this question is about the latter. I’ll see if I can confirm this later, as I haven’t tried to use MIDI External since installing the new OS.

Working fine in flstudio - will check ableton now one min.

Works fine in live - check midi config as mentioned above, will likely be it (started a blank new project by any chance? Saves per project those settings…)

I am also having this problem with Live on a MBP. Can draw in midi and it will send the data to AK, but cannot lay down midi with the AK keyboard. Settings ‘seem’ to be fine, but could someone please confirm what they should be?

hmm ok, I have found that it’s because the midi is only coming through when i set the channel on the track in Live to 9, ie auto

Anyone been having a problem like this with Windows 10? Everything was working fine pre update but since I’ve hit a few snags. Can’t seem to get midi out of my Keys at all without using USB mode!

I was having same problem in live but now its all working, make sure your AK midi ports are yellow in live midi prefs

well the example in the manual states the opposite
