I was 12 the first time I saw them in 2000 @ Roskilde festival.

Seeing them on July 5 at the same festival. The setlist they played the other day was amazing, can’t wait to see what they have cooked up for their festival line-up.

I do wish I could see them at a venue with amazing sound, did catch a few surprise club shows when I could and at Prince’s old Glam Slam club in South Beach.

We bought a younger generation buddy / former roomie a flight and tickets to see NIN so he gets his mind blown, that should be a fun experience.

Great show last night despite the tech issues with Trents Mic and Guitar. He stormed off at the end after the last song looking mad - wouldnt want to be the tech responsible haha

I saw them in Dublin on Sunday and they were immense, it was my first time seeing them.

Having the B Stage worked really well, was great to see them with all the synths.

The gear geek in me spotted a Timetosser , Bastl mixer, Hologram Chroma and Erica Synths Nightverb (or was it the new delay) on Atticus B Stage rig!! Trent kicking in drum loops and atmospheres via his Push 3 when playing the piano. He also had one hell of a big MIDI controller on another rig, tons of knobs which lit up diff colours!!!

Not sure what pad machine Atticus has here (you can see it in the reflection)…

Oh wow, spouse was early to a show (around With Teeth? I think QOTSA opened and Homme was drunk and aggressive to the crowd, whined that people were only there to see NIN) anyway, they got to sit in on a pre-show rehearsal,

Drummer fucked up a bit and got scorched over the mic with something like “I don’t fuck up, you don’t fuck up” (in that they all practice a lot to get on that level). Trent has super high expectations for himself and everyone around him, I’d shed my skin and run out of the venue to avoid that

The Boys Noize remix bits were amazing too. I thought it might be a bit gimmicky but it was really well put together

Damn! That is extremely nice of you. Just wanted to high five you for that level of generosity.

Edit: Also meant to say, everyone should see NIN live if they get the chance. I saw them in ATL on The Downward Spiral tour. My buddy and I stayed late talking to some girls in the parking lot. Then we got a bit lost trying to get out of there. We ended up driving past the loading dock where the guys were getting into a limo. We honked and waved and at least one of them waved back. Pretty small but cool moment for some fans.
