at least 10 months, more like 12, 13, 14, 15, 166… but from what I can tell the pancakes are reeeeaalllly fluffy.

Since it’s digital and there are only 3 changeable parameters on that page as we speak, I’d like more options for the noise! Maybe some different noise types, some funky parameters to edit and modulate etc.

I like the noise, but it’s quite simple as it is.

Being able to change the bit/sample rate of the noise would be one obvious and computationally cheap way to do it, and I find that lo-fi digital stuff piped through a nice filter sounds fantastic.

Jon (the moderator) said in another thread on this forum that there were a bunch of new tutorial videos on the way, but that they could not be released yet as they as they employed new OS features.
I don’t really mind what speed OS updates are released - better to take longer than to to release with bugs or poorly implemented features! but once there’s an official statement of something being ‘on the way’ the calculus changes.

if Elektron were to augment the noise section my vote would be for a random pulse, one that could be both heard and used to modulate stuff, pancakes are more likely

the bad news is, it won’t be ready until late next year.

the good news is, the A4 will then be able to make both pancakes and coffee, at the same time!!!

Edit- Some solid tutorials to polish up my percussion synthesizing skills on the A4 would be mega rather than these pay as you go pre made kits we’re expecting. Those in the know “show”

Seriously considered marking the modulation depth knob to avoid changing destination every time I want to modify depth

Wanted to share that really has been a cumbersome thing for me as am a recently disabled military veteran, and although a survivor, have slight Peripheral Neuropathy in hands/feet, meaning the little finger’s tip always hits that knob and do not realize it because only that fingertip is always numb…a knob push would be ideal for simple ergonomics as well.
