News from colorado

:joy:

Dutch times in Colorado.

I live in neighboring Kansas. I’m interested to see the developments being made in the industry. It’s pretty crazy! A lot of folks here think it’s the downfall of the USA… I have to disagree. I’ve been to Amsterdam, and if done right, it will help a lot more than it will hurt.

Sausage fest…

it going to be a near-non event. Corporate America has been alarmed over the thought that armies of smoky pot-heads would mean a less productive workforce, hence the ban for so long. I disagree. Millions already smoke it up, and then go to their corporate jobs every day. Hell, the entire fast food industry is a vast army of tokers. There might be a short-term period of embarrassing incidents as with any brew freedom, but over a short time things will even out and a new normal will emerge where pot is just another vice-related product, regulated along with alcohol and cough syrup.

Did you guys knew it cures cancer?

You serious? It alleviates the bullshit associated with cancer due to chemo and radiation therapy but it does not cure cancer…

it helps shrink tumors. helps alleviate seizures in children (edibles!). at Univ. of South Florida they did tests where they mixed buds w/rubbing alcohol into a paste. applied it to people having a herpes outbreak and it killed the herpes virus.

there are a lot of things lurking int hat plant. just needs to be studied. which hasn’t been possible w/o major gov’t nonsense because it is still scheduled as having no medical value by the US Gov’t/DEA.

a big plus from legalization is cops able to focus on real criminals. around 800,000 people are arrested nationally each year for very minor pot related crimes like possession. so, as this spreads to other states we’ll start to save lot’s of tax dollars on prisons and courts that are less clogged with bullshit

Regardless of any of the pros and cons of cannabis, the way I see it is that it is an indigenous to this planet plant so what right does anyone have to declare it legal or illegal!? I can understand regulating the chemical extraction from for example the coca plant and the production of the resulting highly addictive substance, but weed is just weed. You grow it in your garden, dry it and smoke it or eat it. No need to cook it down and inject it directly into the bloodstream or soak it in a nasty mix of petroleum products and chemicals and shove it up your nose, lol.
Anyways… Carry On.

Check out a video called What If Cannabis Cured Cancer

-It deals with the science involved.

Cannabis has at least 3 anti-mutegenic cannabinoids in it.

It has more protein than any known plant in the world and is the only medicine that can repair damaged brain tissue.

Okay I am laughing right here… Cannabis is a plant that GOD has placed on earth for us to use.

God? You have to be joking… Not knocking pot and I believe it has lots of medicinal values but I cannot take a site seriously if they are referring to god…

I say legalize everything. Marijuana is an obvious choice because despite the laws and propaganda, people have come to know it is relatively benign, and more and more research is showing a variety of health benefits. There’s no reason why anyone should risk incarceration or fines for possession and responsible use.

But marijuana is small time in the drug war. The real money is in more exotic things like psychedelics, and especially with addictive drugs like heroin and cocaine. Illegality is what creates a black market, creating violence and death. Addicts steal because of the high cost of their addiction, gangsters weaponize because they need to defend themselves against both the police and their competition. The research chemical market is giving way to a host of new, untested chemicals that float in a legal grey area until politicians can add them to the blacklist. I think that is especially scary because we can argue with some degree of certainly that drugs like LSD and MDMA are safe because we have decades of trial in human beings without direct deaths from the drugs, like overdose. When untested legal alternatives are being sold, some with a max doseage of 1mg or less, and can cause hypertension and heart problems or other issues including death, you have to wonder why we don’t just give people what they want in the first place.

Meanwhile, doctors give out opioid painkillers like candy. I did a research paper on ibogaine in college and spoke with the owners of a few clinics in Mexico. Every one told me that most of the addicts (about 80%) who came in for opiate addiction first became hooked from pills. Some moved to heroin over time because it is cheaper and easier to get, but most start with pills, with rapidly increasing numbers since the FDA approved OxyContin in 1995. So we create a lot of mixed messages about drugs, and criminalize and persecute when we should treat them as a public health issue.

I don’t mean to rant, but it’s an issue that I care a lot about.

Revolution means turning uterussia and centaurussia upside down
and trying to turn back again!i!
Revolution is just another word for ā€œpoisoning uterussia with ratsafaripoisonā€
The ratsafari rebels against human p’ERIS’taltic organfunctions.
The centaurussian ratsafari wants you to think it’s ok to bring unhealthy dirt into uterussia because the smoking mirror indi’an U.S. "allowed it in the air above"

Perhaps the ratsafari ratsinger didn’t like fresh air below either…
Trying to poison the ā€œson of manā€ from uterussia, by getting everyone to ā€œallow it aboveā€ you snake in the G’ras’ta! It seems the ratsafari ratsinger lacks commitment to the truth about hole-Y’ness.
