(Newby) Loading kits from presets to your new project

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there is a way to load a kit from the presets to my new project? I created a new project thinking I could just go to the kits and they would all be there, but they’re just empty slots.

Oh, is there a way to live record drum patterns with a kick and snare atleast? I saw cuckoo do it on the A4 keys, and figuring they are basically the same machine it can be done?

Hey buddy. So the file hierarchy is Project > Kits > Sounds
Your kits reside within your project.

You can use the C6 application on your computer to do a SYSEX dump (in your A4’s Global menu, arrow down to SYSEX, then SYSEX SEND) to select which kits you can save to your computer. Do this while in the project containing the kit or kits you want to move,

Then, open the new project and go back to the Global menu, and do a a SYSEX RECEIVE. Send the kits via C6.

Later this year an update to Overbridge will contain some librarian features, making this process much more streamlined.

To live record KICK + percussion :
on 1 track - eather from a multy-map ( I never used that option )
or via sounlocks - u can import a differen sound on every trig ( but you have to import them from the soundpool ( wich you can load with sounds from the + DRIVE ) )
